Job Overview Homestead Maintenance & Remodeling Inc. is hiring 3 experienced and versatile Field Carpenters to join our residential remodeling team. This is a full-time, hands‑on role perfect for a motivated technician who thrives in all phases of home renovation—from framing and drywall to cabinetry, trim work, painting, and minor roofing.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately measure and calculate materials needed for each job.

Cut, shape, and prepare lumber and other materials to precise specifications.

Build and install doors, frames, staircases, cabinetry, walls, and flooring.

Perform framing, drywall hanging and finishing, interior/exterior painting, and siding.

Install hardwood flooring, trim, insulation, and minor roof repairs as needed.

Conduct repair and maintenance work as assigned.

Adhere to safety standards on every job site.

Collaborate with project managers and fellow team members to ensure project deadlines and quality expectations are met.

Travel to multiple job sites using a company‑provided vehicle.

Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years of hands‑on experience in residential remodeling or carpentry.

Proficient across multiple trades including framing, drywall, finish carpentry, cabinetry, and painting.

High school diploma or GED required; trade school or apprenticeship preferred.

Skilled in the use of, and supply your own hand tools.

Skilled in the use of power tools.

Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently on varied tasks.

Valid driver’s license required.
