We are seeking an experienced
Packaging Mechanic I
to support the operation, repair, and preventive maintenance of packaging equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on packaging equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues to minimize downtime
Assist with equipment changeovers
Follow cGMP, safety, housekeeping, and environmental regulations
Report mechanical breakdowns and safety hazards
Maintain high standards of workmanship and job ownership
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
3–5 years of experience in packaging equipment maintenance or related machinery
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and EHS regulations
Ability to read diagrams, gauges, and technical documentation
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and move for up to 8 hours
Frequently lift/move items over 50 lbs
Ability to wear PPE as required
Pay Rates by Shift
1st Shift: $27.00/hr
2nd Shift: $29.50/hr
3rd Shift: $32.00/hr
Employment Type: Full Time
Years Experience: 3 - 5 years
Salary: $27 - $32 Hourly
