Tejas Equipment Rental
We’re hiring an experienced Equipment Mechanic to join our team in San Marcos, Texas. This role involves traveling to job sites and customer locations to perform maintenance and repairs on a range of rental equipment, including boom lifts, scissor lifts, telehandlers, and more.
You’ll represent our service team on-site, so strong communication skills are important—both when working with customers and when coordinating with the shop. The right candidate will have solid mechanic experience, a commitment to safety, and the ability to stay compliant with both company policies and industry standards.

Responsibilities
Travel to job sites and customer locations for maintenance and repair of rental equipment.
Represent the service team on-site, communicating with customers and coordinating with the shop.
Maintain high safety standards and comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure service quality.
Qualifications
Solid experience as a mechanic.
Strong communication skills with customers and within the team.
Commitment to safety and adherence to company and industry standards.
Pre‑employment drug test required.
Clean driving record.
Schedule Monday‑Friday, with occasional Saturday availability as needed.
