Are you someone looking for an accounting position that offers great opportunities and even better benefits? The Office of Administration, Division of Accounting (OA-DOA) seeks a qualified professional for the Financial Unit within OA-DOA.

This is a temporary, full-time, benefit-eligible position based upon the MOVERS project. The position will end upon implementation of the MOVERS project.

The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.

Responsibilities

Analyze and process supplier input forms and registrations.

Analyze supplier input and other forms to ensure IRS and State standards are met.

Assist state agencies and suppliers with various inquiries about supplier entries or supplier input forms relating to SAMII Financial, MissouriBUYS, and MOVERS.

Minimum Qualifications

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Working knowledge of the SAM II system is preferred, but not required.

Ability to communicate well within the unit and with state agencies and suppliers via phone, email, or fax.

Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Ability to work within deadlines.

The following education and experience qualifications are the minimum requirements. When applicable, equivalent substitutions will be allowed for deficiencies in experience or education.

One or more years of business or governmental financial recordkeeping experience including mathematical computations; and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency. (30 earned credit hours from an accredited college or university which includes three earned credit hours in accounting may substitute for the required experience.)

Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.

Successful background check results are required for employment in this position. This may include background checks involving a candidate's name and/or fingerprints and other screenings as needed for the specific position.

Authorization to work in the United States is a prerequisite of employment. The Office of Administration will not sponsor applicants for work visas.
