Position Overview Holz Motors is seeking an enthusiastic and customer‑focused Auto Parts Counterperson to join our fast‑paced parts department. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team that provides top‑notch service to both retail customers and professional technicians. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive the right parts quickly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Provide outstanding service to retail customers and technicians
Answer inquiries
Offer advice and support
Ensure customer satisfaction
Accurately identify and locate parts for vehicles and equipment; offer solutions based on customer needs
Process orders efficiently and ensure timely and accurate delivery or pick‑up of parts
Maintain inventory levels; assist with restocking and perform regular checks to ensure part availability
Work closely with the service department, sales team, and vendors to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
Auto parts counterperson or retail experience preferred
Knowledge of automotive parts and systems required
Excellent communication skills
Strong customer‑service orientation
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Maintain accuracy in a fast‑paced environment
Team‑oriented work style
Familiarity with computer systems and POS software
CRM experience required; Tekion experience a plus
