Job Summary The Marketing Communications Generalist partners with the Marketing Communications team to support strategic initiatives that enhance the customer experience. This role contributes to outward‑facing marketing efforts across eight market teams within three industrial adhesives business units and is located in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Create, manage, and gather feedback for marketing communications project plans ensuring alignment of resources to established goals and objectives. Track ROI for measuring effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
Engage in various aspects related to content creation, including marketing email writing and blog support, content promotion on social media, and event and marketing strategy support to promote products through digital and direct channels.
Support coordination of tradeshows including planning, logistics and execution. Provide on‑site support of larger tradeshows to ensure effective execution.
Support customer‑facing events including external trainings and open houses.
Support graphic design of labels and other documents, such as PowerPoint presentations for external use.
Perform limited administrative duties as required, including invoice processing and budget tracking.
Qualifications / Experience Required
Minimum 2 years of Digital Marketing Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Communications, or Business
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Adobe Suites experience (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro or similar software) preferred
Demonstrates the ability to gain the support necessary to drive successful projects through a matrix organization
Excellent interpersonal, writing and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects
A self‑starter that can adapt quickly to changes and re‑setting of priorities
Must show the ability to complete projects with minimal supervision
Ability to travel 10‑25% of the time
