Head of Business Development - Publisher & Affiliate Partnerships (Remote)
Base pay range: $100,000 - $130,000 per annum + up to 30% Performance Bonus. Location: Remote.
Position Overview: We’re one of the top 5 mattress brands in the US, looking for a partnership strategist who can build revenue engines, not just manage relationships. This role will drive significant revenue growth through premium editorial placements and strategic affiliate relationships that convert at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Build a Revenue Engine, Not Just Relationships: Structure deals with Forbes, CNET, Sleep Foundation and Wirecutter/NYT that generate millions in attributable revenue; negotiate terms, optimize attribution models, and continuously refine campaigns based on EPC, ROAS, and conversion data.
Partner with the 1%: Work with Forbes Council Member CEOs in a top 5 mattress brand with over $1 Billion in sales.

What You'll Need
- Core Requirements:
- 5+ years of business development or partnership management experience in B2C/D2C e-commerce.
- Proven track record recruiting and activating publisher partnerships with measurable revenue outcomes.
- Experience with premium publishers such as Forbes, CNET, major review sites.
- Performance marketing mindset: deep understanding of EPC, ROAS, CPA, attribution models, and data‑driven optimization.
- Technical Capabilities:
- Proficiency in affiliate tracking and partnership management platforms (Impact, Partnerize, or similar).
- Experience with competitive intelligence tools (BrandVerity, Similarweb, Ahrefs, or Visual Ping).
- Strong analytical skills, ability to build financial models and ROI projections.
- Comfortable working with attribution frameworks and multi‑touch conversion analysis.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and track record of structuring win‑win partnership terms.
- Strong relationship management across diverse partner types.
- Ability to balance strategic, high‑touch partnerships with scalable program growth.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
