NDT Level 2 processes parts, evaluates and interprets results, documents results, and performs equipment verification checks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Carry out the necessary preparation of parts before and after the inspection. Evaluate and interpret parts for acceptance/rejection criteria. Conduct system performance checks in accordance with applicable process standards. Guide and supervise trainees and Level 1 personnel. Stay current on the codes, standards, and contractual documents relating to the NDT processes performed at Premier Processing. Perform internal audits of Penetrant Process. Maintain clean work environment. Other duties may be assigned as requested by the supervisor Position Requirement
Physical / Non-Physical Demands
Lift parts, equipment, and tools up to 50lbs Work non-traditional hours, such as overtime, weekends and holidays. May require long periods of sitting and standing. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of continuous improvement methods. Basic knowledge of relevant product manufacturing and inspection technology. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively. Reliable and responsible Attention to detail as well as work efficiently Qualifications and Experience
NDT-Level II Certification required. Minimum 400 hours experience in Liquid Penetrant Inspection.
