Loan Assistant / Loan Operations Support
I'm hiring for a proud Louisiana community bank, and our lending team is growing. We're looking for a dependable, detail-minded Loan Assistant / Loan Operations Support professional to help us serve our customers and local businesses with the efficiency and personal care they deserve. In this behind-the-scenes role, you'll work side-by-side with our loan officers and credit team to prepare documentation, monitor loan files, and ensure every loan is processed accurately and in compliance with banking regulations. Key Responsibilities
Support commercial, consumer, and real-estate loan officers throughout the loan process
from application through post-closing Prepare, review, and maintain loan documentation for accuracy and compliance Track loan renewals, insurance, and collateral documentation Monitor loan ticklers and exceptions, helping the team stay audit-ready Communicate with customers, title companies, and internal departments to keep loans on track Provide administrative support to the Loan and Credit departments Preferred Qualifications
13 years of experience in banking, loan operations, or loan processing Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Knowledge of loan documentation and regulatory requirements a plus Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with loan systems (Jack Henry, Fiserv, etc.) Team player with strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset Why You'll Love Working Here
