Responsibilities:
- Receiving and inspecting all incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality against documentation.
- Processing outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and proper packaging.
- Coordinating with carriers for pick-up and delivery schedules.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular cycle counts.
- Operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Organizing warehouse space to maximize efficiency and accessibility.
- Implementing and adhering to all warehouse Safety protocols and procedures.
- Ensuring proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Identifying and reporting any damages or discrepancies in shipments.
- Assisting with Loading and unloading of vehicles.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in shipping, receiving, or a related warehouse role.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and scanners.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical activity, including frequent Lifting of up to 60 lbs.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong understanding of Logistics principles and warehouse best practices.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace Safety.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with carrier requirements and shipping documentation.
