A K-12 school in the San Juan Capistrano, CA area is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to provide part-time to flexible full-time coverage for a maternity leave assignment through the end of the school year (starting ASAP through 6/5/26). This on-site position offers the opportunity to support students ranging from preschool through high school with a current caseload of approximately 35 students and around 20 billable hours weekly, though hours can fluctuate to meet needs. Key Responsibilities: Deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to individual student IEP goals across preschool to high school populations Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student functional performance Document student progress and maintain compliance with school and state regulations Adapt treatment plans dynamically to support student success and evolving needs during the maternity leave coverage period Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Active California Physical Therapist license in good standing Experience working in school-based settings is highly desirable Flexibility to work approximately 20-30 hours per week, with part-time and full-time options considered Location and Schedule: On-site role in the San Juan Capistrano, CA area Contract position through the current school year ending June 5, 2026 Flexible scheduling to accommodate approximately 20-30 hours weekly This assignment provides a meaningful opportunity to impact student outcomes in a supportive educational environment.
