is seeking a Correlation Review Specialist Level I to support our government customer in Washington, DC. Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Govt. Security Clearance.

Koniag Government Solutions (KGS) is seeking a Correlation Review Specialist Level I to support the National Nuclear Counterterrorism Center (NNCTC) operations with ballistic identification systems. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Perform image and correlation reviews
Conduct quality control reviews for NIBIN Partner sites
Enter data into various databases and formats
Analyze and interpret document sources
Share and report information
Support team operations
Maintain quality standards
Requirements:
Operate Integrated Ballistics Identification Systems (IBIS) equipment
Complete triage/acquisition training
Pass NNCTC correlation review training
Perform proficiency testing
Assist with training (as assigned)
Support acquisition entries
Maintain quality control standards
Desired Skills and Competencies:
Trainee Level:
Learn IBIS operations
Complete required training
Perform basic reviews under supervision
Entry Level:
Perform independent reviews
Maintain acceptable quality levels
Work within established standards
Journeyman Level I:
Six months experience at Level I
Work independently
Meet NNCTC QA Standards
Law enforcement background
Experience with ballistics
Knowledge of IBIS systems
Database management experience
Training capabilities
Leadership potential
Experience with quality assurance
Background in forensics
Understanding of chain of custody
Knowledge of evidence handling
Experience with federal systems
Understanding of security protocols
Technical writing abilities
Experience with data analysis
Knowledge of QA standards
Proficiency in documentation
Education:
Bachelor's Degree from accredited college/university
