About the Role As a Sales Executive, you will drive new logo sales within the U.S. insurance market for our SaaS and outsourced investment accounting, operations, reporting, and analytics services. You will manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, creating tailored presentations, pricing proposals, and negotiating contracts. Your deep knowledge of insurance investment portfolios and regulatory requirements will position SS&C as the trusted partner for complex accounting needs.

What You’ll Get to Do
Drive new logo sales within the U.S. insurance market, including SaaS offerings and outsourced investment services.
Lead the entire sales process from prospecting through closing, including discovery, qualification, presentation development, follow‑up, pricing proposals, and contract negotiation.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline across short, medium, and long‑term opportunities through active outreach and nurturing relationships with decision makers.
Execute high‑volume outreach via calling, emailing, and marketing campaigns to generate new leads and opportunities using Salesforce, Salesloft, and other tools.
Prepare for prospect meetings with high organization and attention to detail, delivering quality presentations and product demonstrations.
Take a consultative approach to understanding prospects’ challenges, priorities, and strategic objectives, delivering tailored solutions.
Develop a thoughtful strategy and execution plan for each engagement, leading to a well‑run sales process and high close rate.
Run complex, consultant‑led RFP processes, ensuring consistent, high‑quality responses submitted on time.
Maintain relationships with industry consultants and other influencers to create advocates for SS&C and drive referrals.
Create and distribute thought leadership to address industry trends and challenges, promoting SS&C’s expertise.
Plan and attend industry conferences with proactive outreach to schedule meetings and maximize ROI.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal teams and executives to strategize, prepare, and execute on new client opportunities.
Build rapport with executive decision makers and develop relationships at multiple levels of the organization.
Work diligently as an individual contributor and collaborate with the broader sales team to forecast and consistently achieve revenue targets.
What You’ll Bring
7–15 years of sales experience, preferably managing complex strategic sales processes.
Understanding of insurance company investment portfolios, including private and alternative products, investment operations and technology, regulatory capital requirements, asset allocation strategies, tax, and risk management.
Bachelor’s Degree.
Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
Self‑starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively, driving new revenue in a complex, performance‑oriented environment.
Organizational intelligence and ability to navigate a large, global organization.
Flexibility to travel.
Salary range:
$110,000 – $150,000 plus uncapped commissions.
Salary is determined by various factors including relevant work experience, job‑related knowledge, skills, abilities, business needs, and geographic region.
