Job Summary
This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, sales acumen, relationship-building skills, and strategic insight to successfully drive sales and market penetration for EV charging solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Opportunity Management
Sales Pipeline Management: Build and manage a pipeline for direct sales of Electric Vehicle Chargers to various stakeholders including OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), Charge Point Operators (CPOs), and Owner/Operators.
Relationship Development
Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with project developers, system integrators, asset owners, and design engineering firms involved in EV projects.
Nurturing Key Relationships: Cultivate relationships with leading DCFC project developers to ensure Alpitronic is the preferred supplier.
Sales Forecasting and Performance Tracking
Revenue Forecasting: Assist with the regular forecasting of revenue and analyze sales results to ensure targets are met.
Corrective Action: Take necessary actions to address performance gaps and drive towards achieving sales goals.
Market and Competitor Analysis
Market Awareness: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform business strategies and decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Internal Coordination: Work closely with product management, engineering, finance, and operations teams to ensure alignment on goals and execution plans.
Travel and Representation
Customer Engagement: Travel to customer locations, trade shows, and potentially international destinations to represent Alpitronic and engage with customers.
Qualifications & Skills:
Educational Background
Degree Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in EV charging industry.
Experience
Sales Experience: At least 3 years of successful sales management experience with a track record of growing revenue year-over-year.
DC Fast Charging Sales: Minimum of 1 year of experience in DC Fast Charging or related solution sales.
Technical Aptitude
Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of Alpitronic’s product offerings and technical solutions, with the ability to explain complex technical benefits in simple terms.
Organizational Skills
Skills and Knowledge: Strong organizational skills, experience in negotiating commercial agreements, and ability to review and respond to RFPs/RFIs.
Market Expertise
EV Market Understanding: Deep understanding of the North American EV market and EV charging solutions.
Strategic Thinking
Self-Starter: Ability to think strategically, drive results, and adapt to a rapidly evolving market.
