Position Summary Serve as a key liaison between the company and healthcare professionals involved in the care of individuals with FOP, including rheumatologists, medical geneticists, orthopedic specialists, dentists/oral surgeons, pediatricians, and primary care physicians. Develop and execute account‑specific strategies to drive awareness and adoption of the company’s therapeutic solutions within the FOP market. Build and maintain trusted relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare providers (HCPs), and other decision makers to ensure alignment with patient care goals. Utilize clinical knowledge and market insights to deliver compelling, compliant, and solution‑oriented messaging to healthcare professionals. Partner with internal cross‑functional teams (marketing, medical affairs, patient support services, and market access) to align on strategies and execute account‑level plans effectively. Act as a resource for HCPs and their staff, providing education on the disease state, treatment options, and company support services. Monitor and analyze local market trends to identify new opportunities for growth and proactively address challenges within the territory. Represent the company at industry conferences, congresses, and networking events to build brand awareness and strengthen relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Essential Requirements

Bachelor’s degree

10+ years of account sales experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry

Rare / ultra‑rare sales experience required

Account management experience in calling on large group practices and/or integrated delivery networks

Must live within the assigned territory and possess a valid driver’s license with the ability to travel, including overnight, up to 70%

Desired Requirements

MBA preferred

Musculoskeletal, progressive musculoskeletal, rheumatology, or orthopedic rare disease experience preferred

2+ years of experience working with key thought leaders or high‑influence customers in large group practices, hospitals, or managed care organizations
