The
Sales Support Specialist I
will support Rheem’s activities and initiatives to increase sales and profitability by engaging Menard’s management and store personnel, as well as plumbers and contractors within the assigned territory. Provide product and merchandising training throughout the channel, develop, and support regional and local activities to grow sales, and ensure proper company procedures are followed. This position will serve our Water Heater Division and is field-based within an assigned territory (St. Louis, Southern Illinois, and Eastern Missouri).
Ideal candidate will reside in the St. Louis area. Responsibilities
Participate and assist in events including: new store openings, contractor lunches, new store preview nights, demos, training events, plumber outreach, regional training events. Collaborate with Rheem’s training and sales teams to drive initiatives such as product launches and new programs. Coordinate large plumber events and blitzes with team members. Assist in coordinating new store setup with Menard’s merchandising group. Handle in-store merchandising, assortment changes, planogram updates, and maintenance. Coordinate schedules to support market activities and report to Senior Sales Support Specialist. Assist in planning and executing sales strategies to generate demand in the territory. Build relationships with customers, store teams, and be seen as a product expert and business consultant. Maintain relationships with store teams and Sales Support Manager for customer handoffs. Engage actively with plumbers and build plumber relationships. Qualifications
Associate degree or equivalent; or 2-4 years related experience/training; or equivalent combination. Previous experience in customer support, client services, sales, or related fields. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with tracking and recording information. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to think strategically and innovatively. Ability to travel up to 50%. Additional Details
