Job Description The Account Executive, Health Systems is an individual contributor role responsible for being a true hunter in a defined territory selling to integrated delivery networks. This position leads a complex sales cycle working closely with internal stakeholders such as clinical, product development, IT, training, implementation, client success, and marketing.
Responsibilities
Engage health system C‑suite to drive strategic conversations and presentations around large enterprise partnerships, building clinical demand for our probe and workflow solution at the ground level.
Create a strategic sales plan, build your pipeline, identify new sales opportunities within your territory, and close business to achieve your defined quota.
Manage a continuous forecast through Salesforce.com using our defined process and procedures for tracking opportunities, activities, and tasks.
Apply deep knowledge of the healthcare landscape, including value‑based care delivery, fee‑for‑service, technology integrations, physician workflow, and payers.
Work comfortably in an entrepreneurial, agile, and fast‑paced environment.
Perform a broad variety of tasks in support of the role and responsibilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field required.
5+ years of experience selling medical SaaS or a combination of medical device and SaaS into health systems managing your own defined territory.
Strong C‑suite relationships within the healthcare market and ability to leverage those relationships for new partnerships.
Outstanding written and verbal communication, customer service, relationships management, time management, and team building skills.
Expertise in administrative technology: Salesforce CRM, G Suite, Slack, Asana, and other tools.
Advanced presentation skills.
Proven track record managing a quota and pipeline.
Willingness to travel up to 75%.
Additional Desired Qualifications
Experience selling both hardware and software into integrated delivery networks.
Intellectually curious, strategic, and thrives on complex problem solving with fact‑driven recommendations.
Experience in a fast‑paced startup is a plus.
Exceeding sales targets with a proven ability to generate in excess of $1M – $2M in sales.
