Practice Group: Financial Services. Practice: Insurance. Location: New York. Role: Associate, Engagement Manager. The Insurance and Asset Management Practice provides strategic insights to Life Insurers, Property & Casualty Insurers, and Asset Managers across strategy development, financial effectiveness, product design and management, operational excellence, underwriting and pricing, and distribution. Responsibilities

Managing the execution of individual project workstreams or projects, including planning and coordination, developing hypotheses, data collection and analyses, primary and secondary research, and surfacing insights. Synthesizing findings into written presentations, reviewing with clients and stakeholders, and leading client readouts of deliverables. Supporting the Partner group in project delivery with accurate and high-quality execution. Managing and developing junior consultants on project workstreams, including task allocation, deliverable review, feedback, and mentoring on consulting skills and insurance content. Qualifications

4-7 years of relevant experience, ideally with a top-tier strategy consulting firm or similar project-based environment. Experience with insurance-related topics (e.g., organizational design, strategic planning, product design, distribution, underwriting, policy or claims administration, claims, risk and capital management, pensions, or reinsurance). Strong track record of leading and managing teams and delivering against tight deadlines in fast-paced environments. Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills with outstanding written and verbal communication. Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program. Willingness to travel. Unrestricted U.S. work authorization for U.S. office locations; Oliver Wyman does not offer sponsorship for this position. CPT/OPT restrictions apply. Compensation and Benefits

The applicable base salary range for this role is $190,000 to $240,000. Base pay is determined by experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and applicable minimum wage requirements.
