What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Develop and execute a territory plan aligned with academic calendars and district priorities to achieve sales quotas
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts while partnering with Customer Success for product adoption
Deliver engaging presentations to district-level stakeholders, articulating the value of educational solutions
Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the education sector
Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and provide reliable forecasts to leadership
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of successful business development, sales, and account management experience
Experience selling or working with technology-based curriculum products, preferably in literacy or reading
Deep knowledge of the K–12 education landscape, including funding cycles and decision‑making hierarchies
Proven track record of sales goal attainment and managing a pipeline of opportunities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Existing contacts within the K–12 education sector
Demonstrated ability to propose tailored solutions and close complex deals
Proficient in CRM (Salesforce) and productivity tools, including MS Office and Google Suites
Experience delivering presentations to groups and decision‑makers
Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders
