As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and leading relationship activities with consumer packaged good companies, focusing on Flexible Packaging sales in North America. Your role involves aligning with customer and Sonoco growth strategies.
Responsibilities include managing day-to-day account activities to deliver a superior customer experience, establishing strong relationships across various functions within the customer’s organization, and developing account strategies to drive profitable growth and mutual value. You should be an effective cross-functional team leader and influencer with strong execution skills.
What You'll Be Doing
Protect and expand existing business positions.
Drive new business opportunities aligned with Sonoco’s capabilities and beyond for growth.
Develop key relationships cross-functionally and at multiple levels within the customer’s organization and Sonoco.
Understand customer’s business needs, strategies, and market environment.
Gain insights into competitors and market dynamics.
Ensure full compliance with corporate standards and legal regulations.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
