The Account Manager should have 5-7 years of business experience, including: Network development, provider relations, or a documented background in sales and/or account management within the healthcare field. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, GroupWise, and Excel. Experience with onboarding processes. Background in pharmaceutical sales. Experience in sales for medical insurance. Responsibility for onboarding new vision care providers from sales team members. Ability to enter requests and track activities using Salesforce. Skills to manage resistance and answer questions to facilitate provider participation. Experience in facilitating the delivery, signing, receipt, and processing of provider contracts.
