Counter Sales , you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers seeking automotive parts and assistance. You don’t need to be able to tear down motors (though that’s a bonus), but a background in automotive parts is preferred. This role offers a great opportunity whether you want to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full or part-time, or explore other opportunities within the company.

What You Will Be Doing

Providing auto parts solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone

Assisting team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge

Delivering outstanding customer care and interactions

Bringing energy and customer focus to a fast-paced environment

Engaging retail customers to enhance their shopping experience

Using technology such as computers, cash registers, and catalog systems

Enjoy helping customers with auto parts and service questions

Have experience in automotive or enjoy tinkering with cars and trucks

Are eager to learn about automotive parts

What You’ll Need

Valid Driver’s License

Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn

High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school is a plus

Excellent communication skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail setting

Strong listening skills and empathy for customers

Additional Preferred Qualifications

Passion or background in automotive, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership

Experience with cataloging and inventory management systems

Customer-centric attitude

ASE Certifications (a plus but not required)
