Counter Sales associate , you will be the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers seeking automotive parts and advice. No need to be able to tear down motors—though that’s a bonus—but a background in automotive parts is essential. This role offers a great opportunity whether you want to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full or part-time, or explore other career paths within our company.
What You Will Be Doing
Providing auto parts solutions and answers to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
Assisting team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge
Delivering outstanding customer care and interactions
Bringing energy and customer focus to our fast-paced stores
Engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience
Using technology such as computers, cash registers, telephones, and paper catalogs

Enjoy helping customers with auto parts and service questions
Have automotive industry experience or have repaired or tinkered with cars and trucks
Are willing to learn about automotive parts if you lack experience
Want to grow your career with ongoing learning opportunities
What You’ll Need
Valid Driver’s License
Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn
High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school is a plus
Excellent communication skills
Enjoy fast-paced retail environments
Strong listening skills and empathy for customers
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Passion or background in automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership industries
Experience in retail, auto body, or collision shops
Knowledge of cataloging and inventory management systems
Customer-centric attitude
ASE Certifications (a plus but not required)
