We are more than just a Parts Store and are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA
Automotive Parts Specialist , you are the “face of the retail store” and the go-to person when customers enter our stores for automotive needs. You don’t need to be able to tear down engines (though it’s a plus), but a background in automotive parts is essential. This role offers a great opportunity whether you want to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full or part-time, or explore other careers with us. We welcome all applicants!
What You Will Be Doing
Providing auto parts answers and solutions to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
Assisting team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge
Delivering outstanding customer care and interactions
Bringing energy and customer focus to our fast-paced stores
Welcoming and engaging retail customers to ensure a positive experience
Using technology (computer, cash register, phone, catalog systems)

Enjoy helping customers with auto parts and service questions
Have experience in the automotive industry or enjoy tinkering with cars and trucks
Are willing to learn about automotive parts if you lack experience
Want to grow your career in a supportive environment with endless opportunities
What You’ll Need
Valid Driver’s License
Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn
High School Diploma or GED; technical/trade courses are a plus
Excellent communication skills
Enjoy fast-paced retail environments
Good listening skills and empathy for customers
Additional Qualifications (Preferred)
Background in automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership
Experience in cataloging or inventory management systems
Customer-centric attitude
ASE Certifications (a plus but not required)
