We are more than just a Parts Store and are seeking talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA
Counter Sales associate , you will be the "face of the retail store" and the primary contact for customers seeking automotive parts and advice. You don’t need to be able to disassemble engines (though that’s a plus), but a background in automotive parts is essential. This role offers a great opportunity whether you aim to build a long-term career as a Parts Specialist, work full or part-time, or explore other opportunities within our company.
What You Will Be Doing
Assist retail and wholesale customers with auto parts questions in person and over the phone.
Utilize your parts knowledge to support other team members and answer customer inquiries.
Provide outstanding customer service and create a positive shopping experience.
Bring energy and customer focus to our fast-paced stores.
Engage with retail customers to enhance their shopping experience.
Operate technology systems including computers, cash registers, telephones, and catalogs.

Enjoy helping customers with their auto parts and service questions.
Have experience in the automotive industry or enjoy tinkering with cars and trucks.
Are eager to learn about automotive parts if you lack experience.
Seek a team environment with growth opportunities.
What You’ll Need
Valid Driver’s License.
Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn.
High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school is a plus.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail setting.
Strong listening skills and empathy for customers.
Additional Qualifications (Preferred)
Passion or background in automotive, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership.
Experience in a parts store, auction, retail, or auto body/collision.
Knowledge of cataloging and inventory systems.
Customer-centric attitude.
ASE Certifications (a plus).
