Counter Sales associate , you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person when customers enter for their automotive needs. You don’t need to be able to tear down engines (though it’s a plus) – a background in automotive parts is helpful. This role offers opportunities whether you want to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full/part-time, or explore other career paths within us. What You Will Be Doing
Providing auto parts answers and solutions to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone. Using your parts knowledge to assist team members and answer customer questions. Delivering outstanding customer service and creating a positive experience. Engaging with customers with high energy in a fast-paced environment. Using technology (computer, cash register, phone, catalog) to assist customers. This Is The Right Opportunity For You If You
Enjoy helping customers with auto parts and service questions. Have experience in the automotive industry or enjoy tinkering with cars and trucks. Are willing to learn about automotive parts if you lack experience. Want to grow your career in a supportive environment. What You’ll Need
Valid Driver’s License. Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn. High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade courses are a plus. Excellent communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail setting. Good listening skills and empathy for customers. Additional Preferred Qualifications
Passion or background in automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership industries. Experience with cataloging or inventory management systems. Customer-centric attitude. ASE Certifications are a plus but not required. What’s In It For You
