The Manager - Community Relations is responsible for creating and maintaining an exclusive lifestyle for residents of Maximus communities, with a focus on creating exclusive resident-centric events, activations, and partnerships at Parkmerced. The position's actions will embody empathy and stewardship with all counterparts of the business from employees to residents to vendors to external partners. This position reports directly to the Senior Director, Community Relations Management and Brand Execution.

Responsibilities

Help develop, immerse, and activate Maximus-branded offers and services across the portfolio.

Cooperate with and explore opportunities with our sales division.

Create and implement new, purposeful, and intentional partnerships that serve the greater community.

Create, coordinate and lead community events, activities, and sponsorship opportunities.

Work with multiple departments to meet programming and activation goals.

Assist Asset Services Director with P&L and asset financial objectives through personal knowledge of residents.

Provide the highest level of resident programming and exclusive partnerships in the market.

Examine and constantly refresh our distinctive resident personas.

Collaborate with Resident Services on resident inquiries, needs, complaints, and opportunities.

Demonstrate leadership through exemplary service behavior and execution.

Foster a culture of achievement, accomplishment, and happiness.

Qualifications

Self-motivated and creationist in respect to forecasting goals.

Dedication to ever-evolving, innovative and creative thinking.

To be a critical thinker and see issues as opportunities to create moments of joy.

Understanding and appreciation for financial objectives.

A love for working with people and a dedication to providing a high level of hospitality.

Experience

3-5 years’ experience in managing marketing campaigns, events, and people toward goal achievement strongly preferred.

Experience with hospitality, front of house, experiential activations, events, partnerships, community placemaking, and/or high-end retail strongly preferred.
