Salary Range: $28.07 To $32.66 Hourly

JOB STATEMENT:

The Bulk Wine Specialist is responsible for processing cellar work orders and maintaining accurate tracking of all bulk wine inventories across all locations. This position supports regulatory compliance requirements for winery operations by ensuring accurate documentation, reconciliation, and reporting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Process all cellar work orders daily for all facilities.

Manage and maintain inventory records for bulk wine, barrels, and food-grade ingredients.

Document, reconcile, and verify bulk wine book inventory against physical inventory.

Enter and approve bulk wine shipping and receiving records in the database as needed.

Verify, enter, and track all purchased bulk wine.

Document, reconcile, and enter bottling and case goods inventory.

Ensure all wine meets applicable state and federal regulatory specifications.

Provide backup support to the scale house for receiving and shipping bulk wine.

Assist with month-end closing activities.

Support Crush data entry and reporting.

Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of various compliance and inventory reports.

Respond to internal and external inquiries related to compliance issues.

Follow guidelines and procedures to support ISO certification requirements.

Conduct periodic audits of Winemakers Database documentation and records.

Perform general administrative tasks, special projects, and additional duties as assigned.

Create and update SOPs, forms, and reference materials.

Facilitate training for new employees.

Maintain filing systems and general housekeeping in a timely manner.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Experience:

2–3 years of experience in general office procedures.

Regulatory or compliance experience in the wine industry preferred.

Strong attention to detail, organization, and professionalism.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively.

Team-oriented and willing to assist on various projects.

Knowledge of:

Independent work practices and effective multi-tasking.

Ability to:

Generate on-demand reports for management.

Represent the company professionally.

Work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Manage multiple priorities and projects.

Prioritize workload effectively and communicate proactively.

Seek clarification when needed and elevate issues preventing timely completion of tasks.

Maintain accurate, thorough records while multi-tasking.

Work overtime, weekends, additional shifts as needed and/or during Crush Season (July-October).

Adjust work schedule at management’s request with a 72‑hour notice.

Collaborate as a team player on cross‑departmental projects.

Frequent interaction with others.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:

Side shield safety glasses, safety vest, head/ear protection and proper footwear when in production facility
