Sales Operations Specialist
The Sales Operations Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the sales team’s day‑to‑day activities, creating operational efficiencies, and helping the company achieve sales targets. This position involves maintaining showroom materials, ensuring accurate data management, and streamlining internal sales processes. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, flexible, and energized by variety — no two days look the same.
Duties
Support daily sales processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Manage and organize showroom materials, product displays, and marketing collateral.
Work with manufacturer partners to keep the showroom updated with the latest and most popular products.
Coordinate with the sales representative to prepare for client meetings and presentations.
Support special projects, events, and sales campaigns as assigned.
Track inventory levels for promotional materials and showroom products.
Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding samples and sales collateral.
Maintain accurate customer and sales data within the CRM system and MS SharePoint.
Troubleshoot CRM or process issues and elevate as needed.
Assist with opportunity and pipeline tracking.
Ensure accuracy and compliance in data management.
Collaborate with Marketing and Operations teams to support cross‑functional initiatives.
Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend workflow enhancements.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive sales and customer information.
All other tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Ability to balance simultaneous projects and prioritize tasks.
Collaboration with sales reps, account managers, operations managers, and stakeholders to align goals and support the sales department.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Detail, task, and solution oriented.
Effective communication in person and via phone or email.
Desire to continually grow and develop.
Ability to build relationships with peers.
Some Foodservice/Restaurant/Hospitality experience preferred.
Ability to receive and organize packages and deliveries as scheduled.
Valid driver’s license, automobile, and insurance.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Located in the greater Cincinnati area.
