Counter Sales associate , you will be the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers' automotive needs. No need to tear down engines—though if you can, that’s a plus—but a background in automotive parts is preferred. What You Will Be Doing: Assist retail and wholesale customers with auto parts questions in person and over the phone. Use your parts knowledge to help other team members answer customer questions. Provide outstanding customer service and create a positive shopping experience. Engage with customers with high energy in a fast-paced environment. Utilize technology such as computers, cash registers, and catalogs. This Is The Right Opportunity For You If: You enjoy helping customers with auto parts and services. You have experience in the automotive industry or enjoy tinkering with vehicles. You are eager to learn about automotive parts. You want to grow your career with us—opportunities are endless! What You’ll Need: Valid Driver’s License. Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn. High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade courses are a plus. Excellent communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. Good listening skills and empathy for customers. Bonus Points If You Have: Passion or background in automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership industries. Experience with cataloging or inventory systems.
