Primary Purpose Of This Position This role is responsible for increasing market share and boosting retention among Riddleberger’s existing customer base by expanding and strengthening client relationships. In addition to account management, this position plays a vital role in business development by prospecting for net new opportunities outside the current customer base, qualifying and passing leads to the sales team, and independently managing straightforward sales cycles from initial contact through close.

Resolving customer concerns
Renewing service agreements
Generating quotes
Securing additional work from current clients, while actively marketing the company’s full suite of services.
Support the sales team with accounts receivable follow‑up and coordination, contributing to both customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
Quality Specific Job Duties:
Provides total account business reports and annual forecasts by consolidating and referencing market information through collecting, organizing and assembling data.
Converts leads into opportunities by assigning the appropriate sales process, identifying the required sales team members and communicating the next steps in the process.
Maintains a competitive advantage by learning about competitors’ activities and reporting to management.
Productivity
Assembles and coordinates acquisition team as needed for customers and agreements.
Identifies potential opportunities with existing and new customers.
Presents, prepares, reviews proposals and/or contracts with all buying influences negotiating scope of agreement.
Effectively assembles fact sheets and action slips post sale to accommodate a smooth transition to the operations team.
Maintains records of sales, customer information and requests by updating the database.
Provides proposals for maintenance agreements and identifies potential opportunities with existing customers.
Customer Focus
Provides knowledge and consultation by developing HVAC system related solutions for the customer's problems, including financial and performance‑based considerations.
Consistently ascertains customer needs and current market opportunities.
Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action and communicating with customers and staff as needed.
Responds to customer needs by identifying needs, generating quotes, engaging the appropriate team members.
Maintains the demanded retention rate and effectively hits net new annual quota.
Profitability
Develops and executes an account specific business plan to identify the long term, mutual support requirements required to facilitate a strong, profitable and successful relationship.
Consistently pulls profitability data from ERP system to ensure contracts are performing profitably.
Develops and maintains multiple relationships with buying influences in the customer's organization, including facility managers, project managers, project engineers, and purchasing.
Develops owner sales plans and generates successful sales with core customers.
Maintains a relationship with key contacts within the account.
Education, Training, Licenses And/or Certifications
Bachelor’s degree or trade school preferred.
1‑2 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office suite.
Ability to generate customer facing documents such as proposals.
A willingness to learn the mechanical trades.
Additional Requirements
Regular and punctual attendance.
Ability to work on a team and interact with people.
Maintain a positive, cooperative, and teachable attitude.
Excellent decision making, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver’s license required and ability to meet company driver qualification policy preferred.
Any other duties assigned by supervisor or management.
