Reports To:
Production Manager & Management Team
Overview: This role works in a high-speed aerospace manufacturing environment where accuracy, efficiency, and consistent production flow are required. After training, employees must perform at the established fast-paced output level while maintaining quality standards.
Essential Duties:
Maintain strong attendance and punctuality
Set up punch presses (Pancake Dies; some Progressive Dies)
Set up each job using Routing Reports and engineering drawings
Select and use assigned tooling for each job
Pull tooling and prepare setups for upcoming jobs
Operate the punch press safely and efficiently
Read and follow Routing Report instructions accurately
Work efficiently with the ability to multitask
Perform work with minimal supervision
Keep up with a high-paced job shop production environment
Skills & Qualifications:
Must be able to read blueprints
Good handwriting for documentation
Basic computer skills are a plus
Tools Required:
Micrometers
Calipers
Additional common measuring tools
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of verifiable punch press setup and operation experience
Experience must align with the qualifications listed above
