Design mechanical systems supporting new nuclear power plant designs or modifications to operating plants. Work collaboratively with design engineering execution teams across US. Perform all aspects mechanical system design engineering Analysis for assigned system’s responsibility. Function responsible engineer capacity includes: acts: seek to understand client interest via client contact, communication with project leadership. Provide technical direction and guidance to others. Assign tasks to coordinate with team on complex projects. Perform research and develop recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection. Understand, manage, and adhere to project budget, schedule, and quality requirements. Initiate contact with other disciplines for proper workflow sequence. The Team

Mechanical Engineering Department—a global team delivering high quality, on time design services in Power, Gas etc. Preferred Qualifications

Nuclear Power Plant System design Condensate and Feedwater systems Cooling water closed cycle; High/Inter/Pri/Low/Auxiliary Steam systems Instrument/Service Air systems De mineralized supply and make-up systems Service and potable water supply system P&ID development Calculations: pipe sizing, thickness, pump, valve, heat exchanger, atm. tank, etc. Prepare technical specifications for mechanical equipment, piping, valves. Working knowledge codes, standards, regulations related to nuclear power plant. Written technical communications. Intermediate knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable codes for nuclear plant design. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program or equivalent. Minimum 5 years related work experience. Must complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements: background check, drug screen, motor‑vehicle records, compliance with laws. Active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record requirements for BV projects. Certifications

Office environment. Prolonged sitting, computer use, attention to detail. Physical tasks during site visits as required. Salary Plan
