Marine Travelift manufactures customized boat handling systems including boat hoists, marine forklifts, and hydraulic transporters. Marine Travelift has been manufacturing mobile boat hoists since 1954 and our equipment is utilized across the globe with over 5,000 units in service to help marinas handle boats of all sizes.

Marine Travelift is excited to be adding full-time Mechanical Assemblers to our 1 st and 2 nd shift teams. As an Assembler you are responsible for building custom machines including boat hoists and other material handling equipment. We are proud to offer in-house job training for all our team members. Previous mechanical skills and attention to detail are required for this career path.

1 st shift – Monday-Thursday, 6:00AM-3:00PM; Friday, 6:00AM-12:00PM

As a Mechanical Assembler, you will…

Produce boat hoist and lift components by assembling parts and subassemblies to produce one, large product.

Install engines and compartments, pumps, tires, conduit and hydraulic lines.

Assemble and install parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics onto large equipment utilizing power equipment and wrenching techniques.

Lift and stack completed subassemblies and parts.

Use overhead and jib cranes as needed to move steel beams and columns.

All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned.

We are looking for you to…

Have experience reading blueprints.

Have previous mechanical experience and/or be mechanically inclined.

Have high attention to detail.

Be able to follow verbal and written work instructions in English.

Be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
