In this full‑time hybrid role you will be responsible for creating and maintaining client relationships across a defined territory while driving sales of Varsity products through a consultative sales approach.

Hybrid outside sales – time spent in a home office, all‑star gyms, community events, and in‑person client meetings. Territory:
Central Midwest – Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas and part of Illinois. You must live within the region you serve. Work Hours:
Flexible, with evenings and weekends as required. Pay:
Base draw $40,000 per year plus performance incentives (varies by experience, education, and market). Travel:
Primarily to all‑star gyms and organizations within the territory; occasional out‑of‑area overnight travel may be needed.
How You Will Make an Impact A Varsity Spirit All Star Fashion Sales Specialist thrives on fashion, enjoys one‑on‑one customer interactions, and excels in a fast‑paced sales environment. You will promote Varsity products using a consultative selling process, manage complex sales cycles, and maintain strong relationships while continuously seeking new opportunities.
What You Will Do
Generate sales of Varsity products to existing and target customers using various sales techniques.
Assist customers with all aspects of Varsity offerings.
Develop relationships and understand customer needs in your territory.
Become an industry expert for your territory.
Guide customers through the design and order process through completion.
Monitor competitors and maintain comprehensive knowledge of their products and selling points.
Coordinate with the Varsity All Star event division to support their sales efforts and promote Varsity All Star.
Implement sales calls, customer visits, and consultations to secure business.
Conduct consultations, design sessions, and sizing appointments.
Meet predetermined performance measurements and sales goals.
Submit complete paperwork, including revisions, payment forms, expense reports, VID requests and rush requests.
Communicate production timelines and delivery dates to customers.
Perform administrative and customer service duties as needed, such as payment collection, order sorting, and return/remake facilitation.
Develop and implement strategy for converting target accounts to new business.
Provide regular updates to direct manager on progress, target accounts, and sales forecasts.
Utilize a variety of sales techniques to increase territory sales.
Complete training to remain current on products, processes, and technology.
Identify new trends and relay findings to manager.
Use company reports (e.g., CSH, PBR, Aged Receivables) to identify opportunities and maintain “clean” accounts.
Respond to all phone calls and emails within 24 business hours.
Develop an action plan with direct manager to resolve customer satisfaction issues and retain at‑risk customers.
Participate in sales conference calls, webinars, meetings, and yearly sales training.
Attend Varsity events (typically Oct–Apr).
Generate and communicate sales leads to the event sales team.
Coordinate team approach with event advisors when appropriate.
Meet all deadlines.
Qualifications Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Presentation skills.
High technical capacity (Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce).
Customer/client‑service focus.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills (active listening).
Personal effectiveness and credibility.
Ability to generate leads, forecast sales cycles, anticipate problems, and create effective solutions; aspiration to meet and exceed sales goals.
Advanced time‑management skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Highly adaptable to changing climates and technologies.
Willingness to learn in‑depth product construction, technicalities, and pricing.
Reliable travel for face‑to‑face touch‑points.
Organization and follow‑through.
Education/Experience
High school diploma or GED.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, education or related field preferred.
Industry experience preferred.
Experience in an administrative support role for at least 2 years.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, bending, lifting, kneeling, walking, and driving; ability to lift 15‑30 pounds.
