Responsibilities

Sell and renew with confidence: consistently meet or exceed assigned renewal and expansion quotas, develop strategic retention and growth plans, lead renewals, and proactively address risks before renewal time.

Drive growth like a pro: build pipeline through focused outbound activities, own upsell and cross‑sell opportunities, and expand our footprint within schools.

Be the client’s MVP: build relationships through strategic outreach and Mongoose Quarterly Reviews, position Mongoose as an indispensable partner, and partner with a Client Success Manager for adoption and value realization.

Collaborate & innovate: partner with Marketing, Leadership, and Product to share new offerings, identify risks, and provide customer insights.

Show up, stand out: represent Mongoose at industry events and conferences, making a lasting impression on clients and prospects.

Make data your superpower: track client health metrics, maintain an accurate CRM, and share insights internally.

Qualifications

Sales savvy with heart: proven success carrying a renewal and/or expansion quota in a B2B SaaS environment, strong win rates, and ability to sell naturally.

A relationship builder extraordinaire: natural at building trust and clear communication.

Proactive problem‑solver: anticipates issues and offers solutions early.

Data‑informed decision maker: uses data to uncover opportunities and shape approaches, comfortable with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred).

Collaboration at the core: thrives in a team‑oriented environment, partners with Marketing, Product, and Client Success.

Higher‑ed experience preferred, but not required.

Benefits Base salary $70K; variable $75K; OTE $145K. Fully remote with working hours in West or Central Time zone (PST or CST).
