As an Account Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind making sure our clients don’t just renew their contracts—they expand their use of Mongoose solutions and can’t imagine life without us. You’ll own the renewal process and lead all expansion efforts, including upsells and cross-sells, by diving deep into client relationships, uncovering their needs, and helping them achieve their goals with our products. Success in this role will be measured by increasing client retention rates, achieving both your annual renewal, and expansion quotas through adoption and growth of our Conversation Intelligence Platform. Responsibilities

Sell and Renew with Confidence: Consistently meet or exceed assigned renewal and expansion quotas to drive revenue growth, while developing informed, strategic retention and growth plans in partnership with your Customer Success Manager. Drive Growth Like a Pro: Build pipeline through focused weekly outbound activities, own upsell and cross-sell opportunities by showing clients how Mongoose can solve even more of their challenges, and expand our footprint within schools by introducing our solutions to new departments and teams that didn’t know they needed us—until you showed them. Be the Client’s MVP: Build rock-solid relationships through strategic outreach and Mongoose Quarterly Reviews (MQRs) that ensure clients feel heard, supported, and ready to grow with us. Collaborate & Innovate: Partner with Marketing to share new offerings, success stories, and updates with clients; collaborate with Leadership to identify risks and develop creative solutions to challenges or closing opportunities; and bring the voice of the customer to Product by sharing insights and ideas that help us build even better solutions. Show Up, Stand Out: Represent Mongoose at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, leaving a lasting impression on clients and prospects. Make Data Your Superpower: Track client health metrics to guide conversations and uncover opportunities, maintain an accurate and squeaky-clean CRM with all renewals, upsells, and interactions, and share insights and updates internally to ensure alignment and fuel smarter strategies. Requirements

Sales Savvy with Heart: Proven success carrying a renewal and/or expansion quota in a B2B SaaS environment with a consistent track record of exceeding targets. A Relationship Builder Extraordinaire: You’re a natural at connecting with people and building trust, making clients feel understood and supported. Proactive Problem-Solver: You don’t wait for problems to knock—you see them coming and have solutions ready before anyone else notices. Data-Informed Decision Maker: You use data as a secret weapon—leveraging insights to uncover opportunities, address challenges, and shape your approach. Collaboration at the Core: You thrive in a team-oriented environment, aligning with Marketing, Product, and Client Success to deliver exceptional results. What We Offer

A base salary of $70K and a variable of $75K, for an OTE of $145K. This position is fully remote, with working hours in the West or Central Time zone (PST or CST).
