We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and maintaining complex systems and networks. Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain complex systems and networks Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues Develop and implement security protocols and procedures Manage and maintain servers, storage, and other infrastructure components Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure system and network stability Provide technical support to end-users Document system configurations and procedures Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field Minimum of 10+ years of experience in systems administration Extensive knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Computer Science or related field Experience with cloud computing technologies such as AWS and Azure Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes Experience with scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell
