Mortgage Field Services Inspector | FAR INSPECTIONS
FAR Inspections is seeking independent contractors to perform residential occupancy verifications on behalf of mortgage lenders.
Based in Reno, NV, contractors enjoy a flexible schedule and predictable income.
Responsibilities
Verify property occupancy.
Report general property conditions using a mobile application.
Take 9+ photos with brief comments.
Complete a short form in an app.
Complete inspections within 4 days of assignment.
Drive within assigned county territory; extended stops possible.
Requirements
Computer with internet connection.
Reliable vehicle (good gas mileage).
Smartphone (Android or iPhone).
Printer.
Pass a standard background check using a valid driver's license.
Pay and Hours This is a 1099 position. Each inspection has a flat rate that varies by county and volume. Typical earnings are $30‑$40 per hour.
Monthly volume ranges from 20 to 500 inspections, working 2‑30 hours per week. Lower volume counties have higher rates; higher volume counties have lower rates.
No mileage reimbursement above the flat fee per inspection.
