Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on their properties. The purpose of the property inspection is to verify property occupancy and report general condition using a mobile application. Most inspections are exterior only; about 10% require interior photos after the property has gone vacant. Responsibilities

Complete inspections within 4 days of assignment, typically taking 5‑6 minutes per job. Report general property conditions and determine occupancy based on industry standards. Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments. Complete a short form in the inspection app. Be prepared to drive extended periods, making multiple stops throughout the territory. Requirements

Computer with internet connection. Reliable vehicle (good gas mileage preferred). Smartphone (Android or iPhone). Printer. Pass a standard background check using a valid driver's license. Pay and Hours

This is a 1099 position. Each inspection has a flat rate, typically equivalent to $30‑$40 per hour. Depending on the county and volume, you may complete 20‑500 inspections per month working 2‑30 hours per week. Rates and volume vary; lower‑volume counties pay higher rates, higher‑volume counties lower rates. No mileage reimbursement beyond the flat fee per inspection. Employment
