Advocare LLC is looking for reliable and compassionate Full‑time Respiratory Therapist to join our team! We provide top quality care for our patients within our communities. The Respiratory Therapist administers all Respiratory Care therapeutic and diagnostic modalities in all patient care areas, demonstrates knowledge and skill necessary to provide care and educate patients as needed. Performs equipment and calibration maintenance and serves as a clinical resource to all members of the Care Center team.

Job Summary The Respiratory Therapist administers all Respiratory Care therapeutic and diagnostic modalities in all patient care areas, demonstrates knowledge and skill necessary to provide care and educate patients as needed. Performs equipment and calibration maintenance and serves as a clinical resource to all members of the Care Center team.
Education and Experience Requirements
Current New Jersey Respiratory Care Practitioners License
Current CRT or RRT credentials through National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
1‑2 Years experience as a Respiratory Therapist
Duties/Responsibilities Include but not limited to
Performs Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) on patients
Perform Six Minute Walks on patients
If needed will put oxygen on patients
Scan all necessary documents
Place orders for all pulmonary and sleep equipment: (vest, oxygen, CPAP, etc.)
Assist patients with CPAP machine issues
Perform nebulizer treatments when needed
Perform Alpha 1 test
Order supplies for PFT machine, etc.
Any Respiratory duties: remote monitoring of CPAP machines, patient education on medications, CPAP mask fitting, changing pressures on CPAP machines
Communicate with patient in a timely fashion, answering phones, responding to emails, answering patient in the portal
Communicate with DME companies
Demonstrate how to use inhalers
Ordering DLCO tanks for the PFT machine and oxygen tanks
Making sure PFT machine maintenance and supplies are up to date
Schedule Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9‑10 hour shift
