Contract Specialist Summary/Objective: Electrical Equipment Company (EECO) is an expert in industrial automation and electric motor solutions, with the benefit of being a full line electrical distributor. EECO provides a combination of capabilities to our OEM and Industrial customers, including onsite assessments, performance evaluation, data driven recommendations, repair options, and supply chain optimization.

We are looking for a Contract Specialist to take responsibility for building long-term relationships with customers who have purchased offers of Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) to ensure satisfaction, drive product adoption, interact with the customer on usage trends to achieve the customer’s outcomes, and identify opportunities for growth and retention.

Qualification Requirements: Technical Knowledge:

Fundamentals of programmable controllers, I/O, HMI, safety, industrial computers, system network design, design software, operations software, and plant maintenance software.

Education:

2-year technical degree or equivalent combination of skills, experience, or education.

Skills:

Technical writing, presentation skills, outcome-based selling, independent work, market analysis, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the management and Annual Recurring Revenue target (ARR) associated with all contracts and software subscriptions within a portfolio of accounts.

Lead proactive renewal strategies to drive retention and mitigate churn risks

Communicate value delivered to customers on a periodic cadence using quarterly business review methodology and other means of communication/cadences.

Lead onboarding, adopt, expand and renewal motions

Monitor and translate customer usage and insights into customer value, leading to increased service contracts and software subscriptions.

Collaborate with sales and account managers to identify new/cross-sell opportunities.

Foster strong, trust-based relationships with ARR customers across their lifecycle

Align product capabilities with customer goals to enhance adoption and satisfaction

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless customer experience

Identify upselling, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities based on evolving needs

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of Rockwell Automation Services and Software offerings and ARR business models. Experience increasing annual recurring revenue

Experience with SaaS, subscription, and service business models.

Proven experience in customer success, account management, or consulting roles

Ability to quickly react and respond to urgent customer needs, ensuring timely and quality responses

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Strong analytical mindset to interpret customer data and usage patterns

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
