GAI Consultants, Inc. is looking for a Senior Roadway inspector to conduct inspections for our new FDOT highway construction work. This position will work out of our Orlando, FL office.
Responsibilities
Responsible for performing highly complex technical assignments such as in-field surveying and construction layout and making and checking engineering computations.
Inspect construction work and conduct field tests.
Coordinate and manage the lower-level inspectors.
Work is performed under the general supervision of the Project Administrator
Certifications
ACI Concrete Field Technician Level I
CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level
CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I
CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level II
CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I
CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level II
CTQP Pile Driving Inspection
CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection
IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I
FDOT Advanced MOT
CTQP Final Estimates Level I
Nuclear Radiation Safety
Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds unassisted.
Must be capable of walking in steep varying terrain in all climate conditions.
Must be able to drive.
