Ohio Valley Waste Service, Inc. (Atwater) is seeking a heavy truck diesel mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy diesel trucks. Essential Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and repair heavy diesel trucks. Service light service equipment and light trucks. Typical repairs include but are not limited to: hydraulic, fuel, exhaust, brake, suspension, electrical, and emission systems. Perform preventative maintenance. Follow written and verbal instructions. Adaptable to changing work environments, competing demands, and able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 3 years experience troubleshooting and repairing problems with heavy diesel trucks. Employees must provide their own safety-approved work boots. Employees must provide their own tools and locking tool box. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit/stand, walk, climb, bend/twist, crouch/crawl, and push/pull required.
