Valley Waste Service Inc. seeks qualified Class A CDL drivers for local daily runs, with drivers being home each night. Essential Responsibilities: Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle. Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (tractor-trailer) according to work rules and laws. Transport municipal waste or recyclables from the transfer station to disposal facilities and unload. Maintain courteous interactions with customers. Minimum Qualifications: Possess a valid Class A CDL. Pass DOT medical exam and drug screening. Maintain CDL and DOT medical card in good standing. Subject to annual MVR checks. Pass a road test during hiring. Own safety-approved work boots. Uniforms provided after the waiting period. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, walk, and climb as needed.
