Responsibilities:
Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
Frame and hang metal and wood doors.
Reading blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp requirements.
Install acoustic ceilings and components.
Perform interior demolition, inspect places, and conduct repairs or maintenance.
Paint and trim.
Complete drywall process.
Install cabinets / Millwork.
Maintain a safe working environment.
Teach, lead, and train the Carpenters In Training.
Requirements:
Driver's License.
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 3 years of carpentry experience.
Understanding of rough and finish carpentry.
Commercial carpentry experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Stand for long periods of time.
Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Walk for long periods of time.
Bend or twist their body.
Repeat the same movements.
Kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl.
