Who We Are:
Engineering firm specializing in traffic engineering, roadway illumination, ITS and safety improvement. Six offices across Texas and Georgia with over 100 team members.
Responsibilities
Setup and manage MicroStation workspace for projects.
Adhere to Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) CAD standards.
Develop plans, specifications and details for traffic signal design, roadway illumination, ITS, communication networks, roadway lighting, traffic management, signing, pavement marking.
Coordinate with Project Managers and Engineers to meet project needs.
Coordinate drawing files and electronic transmittals with clients.
Perform electronic project file management; manage CAD software licenses and updates; provide CAD training.
QA/QC of CAD work performed by other CAD staff.
Maintain up‑to‑date industry knowledge and file translation methods.
Requirements
Associate Degree in Technical Drafting or comparable 4‑Year Degree (Preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience with MicroStation CAD and project file management.
Minimum 5 years of design experience.
Minimum 2 years managing Junior CAD Technicians.
Experience with Geopak and/or OpenRoads.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Conditions of Employment
