Sheet Metal Foreman .
Primary Responsibilities:
Fabricate, assemble, install and repair sheet metal products and equipment associated with all HVAC related work, according to the job specifications and blueprints for commercial and/or industrial projects.
HVAC Sheet Metal Foreman Qualifications:
Reviews projects with Superintendent and/or Project Manager after equipment and subs are completed.
Does takeoffs for projects in a timely and thorough manner.
Plans, coordinates and supervises on-site functions to include, but not limited to, scheduling, material control, and rentals.
Provides daily job completion reports.
Assures all site personnel comply with project procedures, safety requirements, company policies and other requirements as they occur. Documents all incidents and notifies Project Manager and Superintendent. Recommends and implements corrective actions.
Responsible for assuring that all jobs have weekly reports filled and turned into the office weekly.
Conducts inspections on jobs, assures jobs are detailed to Interstate Mechanical’s standards and ready for start‑ups. Coordinates with contractors, engineers, subcontractors and owners as needed.
Coordinates with shop for production scheduling.
5+ years’ experience; journeyman or able to obtain.
Able to read blueprints and prepare materials.
Work to increase team efficiency and uphold high safety standards.
Knowledge and skills to deliver solutions to prevent issues from becoming major.
Must be self‑motivated and able to multi‑task with excellent follow‑up skills.
