Job Overview Macallan Construction LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finish Carpenter to join our growing Field Operations team. This full-time, local position is ideal for a skilled tradesperson who excels in finish carpentry, wood and metal framing, and takes pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship. As a key contributor on-site, you’ll play an essential role in the hands‑on execution of construction projects—bringing blueprints to life with precision and care.

A skills test will be required as part of the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities

Perform finish carpentry work with accuracy and attention to detail

Execute wood and metal framing on commercial and industrial job sites

Interpret and work from construction blueprints, drawings, and plans

Maintain high standards of job site safety, cleanliness, and organization

Coordinate daily work activities with foremen, superintendents, and subcontractors

Install doors, trim, cabinetry, partitions, and other structural elements

Use a variety of hand and power tools efficiently and safely

Provide regular progress updates and flag potential issues or material needs

Assist with punch list work and project closeout tasks as needed

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in carpentry (finish work and framing preferred)

Experience on commercial construction sites preferred

Must be local to the Raleigh area and available for full‑time work

Must own basic carpentry tools

Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Must be able to pass a skills assessment test

Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints

Strong communication skills and ability to follow direction

High school diploma or GED required
