Interpret load diagrams and apply load requirements to steel components. Analyze connections of steel joists and girders. Identify special connections and coordinate with other trades. Create placement plans, sections, and details for erection and installation. Generate Bills of Material for shop orders. Coordinate with clients, erectors, and architects to ensure quality and schedule adherence. Perform other duties as necessary. Ideal candidates will have experience in: Structural steel detailing and design/drafting. Project development from concept to production. Problem solving and quality assurance. 2D or 3D CAD software.
